Rutgers Cinema is a state-of-the-art digital theater located in a new mixed-use retail plaza on the Livingston Campus of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, in Piscataway.  The new development is a pedestrian-friendly gathering place where the Rutgers community will come together to eat, study, play, and shop and includes an expansive green space to host community events.  The Cinema is surrounded by eateries, a technology store, a fresh grocer, a coffee bar, a nail salon, and a full-service diner.

Rutgers Cinema consists of three auditoriums with a total seating capacity of 323. Auditorium 1 will seat 155 and Auditoriums 2 and 3 will seat 84 each. All theaters offer closed caption and audio description. The Cinema features a full-service concession area that sells popcorn, soda, candy and other popular food items. In addition to hosting first-run movies, the cinema will host a number of special events such as film festivals and films that will promote intellectual, social and educational growth.
